Paving
The City of Niagara Falls Department of Public Works is responsible for street paving.
The City contracts out the work of milling out the pavement, while the Department of Public Works does the binding and top layers of pavement.
Streets that are eligible for paving are determined by the Engineering Department based on the time passed since the last paving or age of the current street, in addition to other factors.
Potholes
The City of Niagara Falls Department of Public Works is responsible for the repairing of potholes. Residents can submit a request for repair or maintenance and the location of a pothole through the online 311 system or by calling 716-286-4311 or 311.
