Within the City of Niagara Falls, there are several organizations available to assist residents who are in need of shelter assistance and related services.

Below is information about different resources available within the city:

  • Community Missions of Niagara Frontier, Inc.
    • Emergency Housing Shelter
      • This housing is meant for individuals and families who have found themselves in need of emergency shelter due to:
        • Homelessness
        • Fire
        • Domestic Violence
        • Eviction
        • Parole or release from prison
      • Discharge from hospital
      • Located at 1570 Buffalo Avenue.
      • Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

  • Casey House Youth Shelter
    • Co-ed, short-term emergency shelter for runaway, homeless, “at-risk”, and “throwaway” youth ages 12 to 17 years old.

  • Niagara Gospel Rescue Mission
    • Men’s Overnight Shelter
      • Open 365 days a year
      • For men in need of short-term housing (30-day stability)
        • There are other programs offered during this time to assist those in need staying at the shelter
      • Provides showers, hygiene supplies, meals, and a safe and sober place to stay warm and sleep
