Within the City of Niagara Falls, there are several organizations available to assist residents who are in need of health related services and assistance.

Certified Health Resource Service Providers
  • Alcoholic’s Anonymous
    • Alcoholics Resource Center provides a wide variety of alcohol detox options. Not all detox centers and programs are the same. It is important to choose the right one, and they are here to help.
  • Diabetes Prevention Program Workshops
    • Niagara County offers free workshops to help individuals reduce their risk of type 2 diabetes.
    • This workshop consists of 16, one-hour weekly sessions with a Trained Lifestyle Coach to help participants set and achieve personal lifestyle goals.

  • Immunization Clinic Program
    • The Niagara County Department of Health offers all required and recommended vaccines to individuals attending these clinics.
    • There is no fee for the vaccines provided by the Vaccine for Children and Vaccine for Adult programs, however there is an administration fee.

  • Sexual Health Center Clinics
    • This clinic includes confidential testing, treatment, and counseling for anyone 12 years of age and older.
    • The Niagara County Department of Health accepts Medicaid, Fidelis, Independent Health, and BlueCross/BlueShield.
      • Patients should bring their insurance cards and be prepared to pay any co-pays due at the time of the visit.
