The MIS Department reports to the City Administrator and is responsible for coordinating the Information Services Team projects as well as the planning and organization of Information Services. The MIS staff and assists in evaluating and scheduling project/work order requests. They are responsible for the administration, operation, maintenance, user support and overseeing City hardware and software.

Department Overview
The Management Information Services Department consists of three positions and reports to the City Administrator. The three positions are Director of MIS, Network Technician and Production Control Manager.
The Department of Management Information Services is responsible for the administration, operation, maintenance, user support and software development for the city’s information systems. We currently run Public Administration software package which includes Financial Management, Human Resources, Payroll, Budgeting, and Property Taxes. MIS is also responsible for the administration, operation, maintenance, and user support for the various platforms ans applications utilized by the City departments. This support includes purchase and installation of hardware and software, configuration of PCs, user support, backup, network issues and general technical trouble shooting.
